Chip Gregory
Acting Instructor
Chip Gregory is an actor, director, writer, and producer with more than 25 years of experience in live theatre, comedy, television, commercial production, and independent film. He is the co-founder of Rogue Theatrics and helped launch TripleForce Academy, where he teaches acting with a focus on accessible, real-world training for adults.
Chip trained at Second City in Chicago and later performed at Second City Hollywood, sharpening his comedic voice and collaborative instincts. He was also a member of Fred Willard’s legendary comedy troupe, The MoHos, performing in original sketch and improv shows that blended wit, satire, and character-driven comedy.
His directing and performance credits span Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Nashville, Austin, and Columbus. He has created and led productions ranging from original sketch comedy and cabaret theatre to writing and directing TV commercials, industrial videos, and branded commercial video content. His work has been seen both on stage and screen, with a focus on character authenticity, emotional depth, and comedic timing.
As an instructor with over two decades of experience, Chip specializes in helping adult actors connect to their material, sharpen their instincts, and perform with confidence—whether they’re returning to the craft or just starting out.
After retiring from full-time production work, Chip returned to Marion, Ohio, his hometown, to contribute to its revival as a destination for live entertainment and the arts. He now serves as a volunteer instructor with TripleForce Academy, helping to build a creative space for adult performers in the heart of the community.
🎯 What makes Chip ideal for students: He brings stage and screen experience from every angle—performance, production, and direction—with a coaching style that pushes students to rise while making space for creative risk and discovery.
